NexGen® Complete Knee Solution Cruciate Retaining Knee (CR)

NexGen CR The NexGen CR, a "cruciate retaining" implant, is intended for patients who, in the physician's judgement, have good bone stock and whose ligaments provide adequate joint stability. The CR is frequently used for patients undergoing a "primary" or first time total knee replacement surgery. The CR is designed to help accommodate people with the ability and desire to perform activities that require at least 0-120 degrees of flexion such as, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs.

NexGen CR Case Study

NexGen CR Knee X-rays The x-rays shown are from a 59-year old female, a candidate for primary total knee replacement surgery, who was diagnosed with degenerative arthritis of the right knee. Her posterior cruciate ligament was in excellent condition and her range of motion preoperatively was 0-95 degrees. Postoperatively, the patient recovered well and after rehabilitation had a range of motion of 0-108 degrees. Note: This case study represents the outcome of only one patient and results may vary.
